Could you create work that is quirky, fun, maybe provocative, for sure entertaining? Then The Place may have a new opportunity for you.
The Place would like to offer support to 5 young artists or collectives to create, rehearse and perform a short live art piece between 13th and 29th July 2014. This series of Fringe Shorts will form part of Fringe at The Place – Dancing our way to Edinburgh, a new, cross disciplinary programme previewing cutting edge work prior to their Edinburgh run.
The Place will offer financial support, rehearsal space and mentoring throughout the process. Applications are open for live art, cross-disciplinary and visual art projects by students of The Place and its educational partners.
Deadline for applications: Monday 9th June at 9am.
Please have a look at the background information, project brief and application form attached.
